My beautiful daughter's wedding featured "These are the Days" from his super album "Avalon Sunset."

My baby girl was born last july. Beeing six weeks premature we were carrying her as much as possible to share our body-heat. One tune that always puts her at ease and eventually to sleep is 'Skye boat song' from Versatile. From the bottom of our hearts - Thank you.

We've all heard Brown Eyed Girl and know that voice. But back when I met my husband we were just dating and we would cruise around in his 1974 Challenger and listen to Wavelength. One of my favorites! Van the man has such great music, we love him. What an incredible artist, growing all the time.

I have loved this mans songs for over 40 years. First heard his Astral Weeks album at 18 years of age and my favourite song is still 'Sweet Thing'. We played 'Have I told You That I Loved You' at our wedding 28 years ago.

I lost my first wife in 2004 to colon cancer and my favorite song for her was Brown Eyed Girl, except I would change the words to Green Eyed. When re-married in 2006 my new wife (also a widow) Lori and I danced to "Have I Told You Lately" The two of us will see you Sept 11 in Boston.

In my youth and now as professional musician (trombonist/arranger) I've always enjoyed Van Morrison's tunes. One specifically, "The Way Young Lovers Do", is a GREAT TUNE with a FINE arrangement and assortment of instruments. I ALWAYS wanted to know who recorded the TROMBONE SOLO!?

I'm a devoted Van Morrison Fan since his first legendary Rockpalast Concert in Essen 1982. I'm visiting as many concerts as I can, even went to New York to see "Astral Weeks" performed live.

My lady and I at our first Van show! I had been looking forward to that moment for so long. One of the most memorable experiences seeing music I have ever had!

I can't thank you enough for the perfect mother/son song., "Days like this,"My wonderful son Gregg and I choose to dance to at his wedding this past September 1, 2019. My lasting memories of this dane will forever play both in my heart and in my mind with great happiness.

If I could only listen to one artist for the rest of my life it would undeniably be Van Morrison. He covers every genre of music and every human mood with his soulful voice, meaningful lyrics and musical vibe - there will never be another like him!

I have seen Van a few times, but at the Rainbow in July 1972 was the best ever!

The remastered 'Too Late to stop now' does have a few video clips on the DVD included that are great memories but wish he would release the full concert! Seeing him again next year at The Palladium. Can't wait!

One of the best records I've ever heard, and I've heard some in my life. An album with every single song is great.

Absolutely delighted to have witnessed Van-and-the-band's truly amazing show at Yoshi's jazz club, Oakland, on Feb. 12, 2020. Celebrating our 30th, my wife and I flew in from Toronto. It was our first Van Morrison concert, and I think we hit the jackpot! So vital! (Hopefully, not our last VM show.)

I've followed Van, his music and his poetry for so many years that I've lost count. He's afforded me many amazing adventures and I continue to thirst to hear him sing and play live again and again. I've been honoured to meet him several times which was a pleasure never to be forgotten, for me.

Memories from 1999 at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham. Flew in from Luxembourg and ended up at the same hotel as Van Morrison just around the corner from the concert hall. Met him at the bar before the show. I think I behaved like a 15 year old meeting Michael Jackson.

After my dad & my sister died just months apart, I got a tattoo of an infinity sign and the words "into the mystic" because the song, in Van Morrison's haunting voice, helped me so much. A question if it can be answered here: how can I purchase VM's Caledonia Soul Music?

As a child of the 70’s, worldwide, Van would have been a household name when it came to music. In my home, it was more than that. My Dad considered Van one of his best mates, they’d lived a life in Belfast together before the fame. I’d love to know what Van remembers about George Bloomer today ❤️

In 1976, I was the 16-year old brown-eyed girl/laughing and running/skipping and a jumpin'/with a transitor radio/making love in the green grass with the love of my life. Van has touched my life over many years; I love and cherish his music. God bless you, Mr. Morrison.

My Dad was born in 1947 in Northern Ireland. He LOVED Van Morrsion, collecting even his more obscure albumns. He was a history teacher and knew everything about Van's life. At his funeral in July of this year he had chosen Full Force Gale as his funeral song. The lyrics are beautiful.

I was in awe by Van when the Wavelength album came out as a kid. My mom got me tickets to the show. Van had his people get me backstage to meet him. I had on a long sleeve t-shirt that said "Van the Man. Got my photo with him. I would like to have that chance again 50 years later. Any suggestions?

Van is my favorite artist of all time. I seen him live in LA in 2016 at the shriner auditorium. I have his logo tattooed on me. I am 34 years old and his music is so refreshing to me.

Our wedding song was Someone Like You. My husband surprised me with that song because it meant so much to him and he knew I would love it. On September 9 we are going to see Mr. Morrison perform in Las Vegas for our 25th wedding anniversary. We are hopeful that he will sing Someone Like You.

Our Dad was a huge fan and your music is the playlist of our childhood. He passed suddenly and it has devastated our family. Your music makes it feel like he’s still here with us and I’m eternally grateful. I feel peace knowing he was able to see you in concert, a year before he passed.

I apologize for just recently discovering how great Van Morrison is. Now that I know, he is by far my favorite musical artist. I am from the inner city of DC and just flew to Providence RI to see him in concert for the first time and he confirmed my belief that he is the G.O.A.T.

I just went to my first concert in Ireland, on Easter Sunday at the Culloden Hotel & Spa. The show was the primary reason for going but I made it into a Van tour, taking in his childhood haunts and getting to spend more after 3 days in Belfast and four in Dublin. It was the highlight of my 70th year!

Saw Van in September at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles and have never seen him better. This week we are so blessed to see him in Oakland for 2 shows and Carmel for another 2. Thank you Van and the whole band for continuing to tour. We can’t wait to have our hearts and souls filled by you all.

Great time seeing Van in NYC!

In 1978 I went to the cinema and I watched the Band's farewell, the Last Walz.A lot of my favourite artists took part of the show. At that time I was a great fan of Bob Dylan. When Van took the stage and performed Caravan I was totally enthusiastic about his singing and his voice.

This past August 2014 I managed to attend two of Van's special shows at his former school , Orangefield in East Belfast, where he grew up. All the fans who were lucky enough to be at these shows agree that Van and his band were on top form. Van was in great humour and a highlight for most was his amazing "On Hyndford Street". We also had Ballerina and In The Garden, a great set of songs.

My favorite dance song ever! I have to dance whenever I hear Brown Eyed Girl ;)

My very first encounter with Van Morrison happened when I was about 13 yrs, RTE broadcast the Rainbow Concert, which I believe was the very first simulcast in 1974 by BBC. I was entranced by the performance, glued to the screen and it left a huge impression on me.

Some years ago my art illustration instructor gave us a fun class assignment to make a CD cover. I thought this was a good learning experience and I’m proud of my art work. I enjoy listening to Van Morrison’s music and felt inspired to create an illustration for the song "Bright Side of the Road"

I was first turned on to Van at 16 years old. I am now 51, and can only say my appreciation for this man and his incredible talent is usually all I need to turn my day around. I was fortunate to see him perform at the Orpheum in Boston. I cant imagine how it would be to spend a day with this person.

I've been lucky enough to see Van perform in person twice. First at the Fox Theater in Detroit in 2008 and again in 2013 at Nob Hill in San Francisco. Both performances were transcendental experiences! I hope to see him perform in Ireland in 2016.

Just listened again (and again) to "Someone Like You" from a movie soundtrack & am so moved by the beauty of that voice and lyric. Being a brown-eyed girl, I was a fan "back in the day" and now all lit up again ...thank you Van!

As all Vanatics do I see Van related things in everyday life and even have conversations that consist solely of the lyrics of Van Morrison songs. Some examples of the sense of humour of fellow fans and appropriate to the setting up of the Fanwall is the attached photo of the Vanwall racing car.

We are travelling to Belfast then Newcastle, all the way from Australia to hear/see a singer we have enjoyed for over 40 years at the oncert at the Slieve Donard on the 24 Aug. A dream come true, our 'bucket list'.

Here is my sweetest memory of a Van's concert: Solstice at Dunluce, June 2013, with my boyfriend at the Giant's Causeway. It was a special moment to hear 'Sometimes we cry'. I have included a picture of the sunset we saw that day.

In 2002 the Irish Philatelic Service issued "Irish Rock Legends" commemorative stamps. Of course I had to purchase them, and extras of Van. I then had them framed. The middle section is hard to read - it is a write-up of Van. It hangs on my wall surrounded by photos of Warrenpoint, 2007.

Van is a legend. Saw him both nights at Nell's Blues & Jazz Bar, (28/2 & 1/3). What a venue. Small, intimate and completely filled by Van's genius. The guy is still at the peak of his ability...and that voice.... #Legend

Living in New Zealand, we never thought we would get to see Van live, on a trip to Canada and Alaska back in 2010, we arrived in Vancouver and by sheer luck found out there was a Van Morrison concert in town the next night, bought tickets and saw the show. One of those right place right time moments

How special that my visit to Belfast in March includes the thrill of seeing Van with my daughter who shares my love for Van's artistry as I have for the past 50 years. Truly a blessing.

There are days like this. Van Morrison's is playing "Brown Eyed Girl" on the edge of Ireland. I'm dancing with my girlfriend and the smile in her eyes is as beautiful as the rainbow we spied earlier exploring Dunluce Castle. There's a magic in Van's music . . . you know what I'm talking about.

I was 18 when I was first introduced to Van's music. It was Astral Weeks and I was entranced. I still am entranced by the music and the man. I have seen Van in concert 3 times in my life and they have been beautiful times. So thank you Van.....x

I've attended the last 5 shows Van has done in Boston. They were all unique and they were all an experience. You get lost in his music. I actually run road races to his music because its calming and I'm not thinking about time. I hope he comes back so my nephew can experience him too. He's a big fan

Your music has helped me through the past year of radiation therapy for brain cancer, (glioblastoma). Songs like "If I ever needed someone", "I'll be your lover, too" and "Into the mystic" kept me calm while wearing a tight fitting radiation mask and through countless claustrophobic MRI's. Thanks.

As a Songwriter Hall of Fame Board member I was so excited when Van was announced as the 2015 Johnny Mercer Award winner. Cannot wait until the June event. Love your Old Black Magic rendition with your Daughter Shana. Congratulations, Johnny would be so happy. See you in two months.

I've been to hundreds of concerts in my life, but my first two -- Van and the Caledonia Soul Orchestra at the Troubadour and Santa Monica Civic in '73 -- are still my favorites! I wasn't old enough to drive yet so my dad had to take me. Now, in my fifties..."it's too late to stop now!" Rave on, Van!

I have been a fan since the Maratime days with THEM. I am now 64 years old and sing The Man's praises daily! to me, he is a latter day Beethoven - "THE MAESTRO" My 32 year old daughter is also a fan. My favourite albums are No Guru, No Method, No Teacher Astral Weeks and A night in San Francisco.

I've been to 12 concerts and hope to see him in New York or Ireland again this Summer. His live shows are magical, moving, and literally life-changing. There is nothing in the world like it! I drew this ink drawing of him and would love to give it to him someday. Thanks Van!
