The sold out concert which took place in the Lyric Theatre London, featured readings of lyrics, a Q&A with Van and an intimate four piece band performance which included tracks such as On Hyndford Street, Coney Island and Into the Mystic.
The gig has been greatly received with reviews from:

Ralph McLean, Culture Northern Ireland
Mika Ross-Southall, Times Literary Supplement
'Lit Up Inside' is a representative selection of lyrics from about one third of the songs that Van has written over his fifty year career. Plunging deep into the world Van has created, the lyrics are a journey through the back streets and mystic avenues; memories of childhood wonder and of adult work; the chime of church bells and the playing of the radio; the generous naming of other artists and the joy of solitude; love and sharp dealing; consolation and grace.
'Lit Up Inside' a collection of songs by Van Morrison, is available in hardback to purchase from No Alibis Bookstore and other leading outlets.
