The Band plays San Francisco.
November 24th, 1976 and The Band take to the stage at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco to perform their final live gig.
Filmed by Martin Scorsese and released in 1978, the night featured a multitude of guests including, Bob Dylan, Paul Butterfield, Neil Young, Emmylou Harris, Ringo Starr, Ronnie Hawkins, Dr.John, Joni Mitchell, Muddy Waters, Ronnie Wood, Neil Diamond, Bobby Charles, The Staple Singers, Eric Clapton and Van.
Van performed two tracks at the Ballroom, Tura Lura Lural and Caravan.
