Van Morrison Performs at Paul Jones and Friends Annual Charity Gig

Van was delighted to have been invited to perform with familiar faces, Sir Tom Jones and Eric Clapton, at the annual Paul Jones and Friends gig, this year supporting prostate cancer.

Van’s set included “Help Me”, “Fame”, “Automobile Blues” and “How Far From God”, followed by a show finale with Van and Sir Tom joining Paul on stage to perform “Strange Things Happen Every Day”.

The £25,000 raised by the event was donated to the Prostate Project ‘Buy a Brick’ appeal to help fund a new world-class Urology Centre at Royal Surrey County Hospital.
